(KRON) -- A suspect is in custody after a police officer was shot by a suspect while responding to a family disturbance at a home on Auzerais Avenue Wednesday morning, the San Jose Police Department confirmed. The female officer who was shot was transported to a hospital. At a media briefing, police said they had no update on the officer's condition.
